I actually heard Ron Christie (former Cheney staffer and FOX hack) argueing for Libby’s pardon.  When presented with the fact there was a trial and Libby was found guilty his resonse was “What about Sandy Berger taking documents out of the national archives?”

What about it?  Ask about apples they answer about oranges.  Deflect, obscure, ignore.  Facts?  What facts?

One day Bush will be asked a straight question about whatever member of his administration that has done something sleazy lately and I swear he’ll look straight into the camera and say “Flimaflamawhamajama” and all the Fox news folks will nod knowingly and say “he’s got a point.  Stop blaming America first.”

Mr. Fish could draw Colin Powell holding the fake anthrax at the UN with the wrong hand and by the end of the day the whole event would be in dispute. Did it ever really happen?  Everybody’s entitled to their opinion, I guess.

Oh Frank that’s just perfect.  You’ve caught on and learned the lesson that Fox-Rove-Limbaugh have been using so successfully in their campaign against logic, truth and intelligence.  Counter everything you disagree with by pointing out something barely related as if it’s an actual alternative viewpoint with equal merit.

2001, There were warnings about the attacks of 9/11. Response - They hate our freedom.

2002, The Niger story about uranium is an obvious fabrication, there are no WMDs. Response - Joe Wilson’s wife works for the CIA

2003, Invading Iraq will bring disaster, increase terrorism and cause instability in the region. Response - Saddam Hussein is a bad man.

2004, Bush has failed as President, change the country’s direction.  Response - Kerry has changed his mind about things in the past.

2005, FEMA failed the people of New Orleans. Response - There was looting and the Mayor is a democrat.

2007, Bush ignores the ongoing human cost of a failed occupation in the midst of a civil war. Response - Mr. Fish’s drawings look too realistic, I found the picture he used as his model!  Touche’!!!

An honest debate is one thing but obfuscation at every turn is another. I don’t blame you. It works.

Please Frank.  Think.  If you really believe you have a logical, reality based argument that justifies the waste of the next soldier who will die in Iraq let’s hear it.  He’s alive today and will be dead tomorrow.  Maybe he’ll read your post and feel good about his sacrifice with your words of wisdom ringing in his head as the sounds of explosions and screaming fade away. “Mr. Fish can’t draw. God Bless America....”

I’ve seen both the image of Bush and the saluting marine amputee in the original photographic form.  Here is one capture of the Bush picture:

I take it back though, Mr Fish, I don’t think you traced the originals.  In fact, it looks more like you simply cut and pasted the photos and then rendered them into faux sketches using software like Photoshop.

Of course, if that were true it would be copyright infringement, even if the originals were altered to look sketched. I’m sure Mr. Fish wouldn’t do that.

To Frank - give me your address and I’ll come over to your place and draw you with your foot in your mouth.  It’ll look like a photograph.  Good enough to show your mom.

Mr Fish, did you ever consider learning how to draw instead of just tracing photos, adding text and passing it off as your own art? Just curious.

“Martin Luther King, Jr., had asked us to do something really hard. Many people felt he had asked us to do something impossible. He had asked us to embrace nonviolence as a way of life.

When he died by the gun, for many, many people, in the Movement and out of it, there was a feeling of release. We can’t do it, many felt; we can’t live as nonviolently as Martin Luther King, Jr., did (and once again the white man--in the person of King’s assassin--has demonstrated why)."-Alice Walker, ‘We Are the Ones We Have Been Waiting For’

This is one of the best iv’e ever seen. It captures the very essence of both bu$h and the heart of our troops.

Bush reminds me of Paris Hilton in many ways.
She’s now locked up, he should be.

And someone tell me how throwing our youth away on this debacle in Iraq and Afghanistan is protecting us. Or as bu$h has said, are we simply “honoring” those who fell on 9/11 with a greater number of our best!
