Does this mean there are more than a few of us who know that China is and has been the number one real power for awhile now? Like since before 9-11 when the U.S. apologized for that plane that got knocked down?

Does this mean I won’t get flamed off newsgroups and forums for even mentioning this?

The U.S.government has a long standing treaty agreement with Taiwan to protect it in case of an invasion attempt by China.  Don’t count on it!  Even if the Bush Administration weren’t already contemptuous of any treaties and agreements signed by the U.S., it will not hesitate to sacrifice the people of Taiwan to avoid angering its largest creditor.
