The decided Bush Regime tilt against the Palestinians a year or two ago, its virtual endorsement of the legality of the West Bank settlements, renders a death blow to any hope for peace in this now ancient contretempts. Can we hope that in 2008 a Democratic president might bring back Carter’s Secretary Of State?
