This cartoon depicts about as much intelligence as the whole of the left wing.

You would think that after nearly 4 years of debacle after debacle, that the Right Wing vultures would come to the realization that their inept war tactics are only going to result in thousands more American soldiers deaths!

The thought of adding more troops is not as crazy as it seems. What would be crazy for McCain to do is to remain fighting with the same tactics. If we pull out now, we fought for nothing. But if we stay the course, more men & women will die, and America will loose.

McCain is only pandering to the conservative right wing elements of his party. He knows by now as we all do that we are going to send more troops, but he can always say that I had an idea to save our efforts there. He’s so desperate for a shot at the Presidency in 2008, he’s willing to jeopardize the lives of our kids for the sake of his ego and relentless desire to win the White House.

McCain of all people should KNOW more troops is never a panacea for a failed strategy. More troops with a failed strategy just becomes a bigger failed strategy with more coffins and more names on the future wall.

And if the U.S. doesn’t become energy independent; that wall will soon become bigger than the one they have in China.
