Bush’s efforts, more often than not, ignite sectarian and nationalistic passions on both sides of every conflict he decides to become a part of. I thought this cartoon illustrated his misplaced efforts quite nicely grin

“Is that water he’s spraying?” ... the sad part is, I don’t think he knows :-(

I agree with comment 17361. I think our mindless support of Israel is causing untold misery. I have seen the refugee camps of Palestine and Lebanon. Our support is also causing more terrorist action against the US and Great Britain in Iraq.

This could not be more true considering the current situation in Israel would have not been possible without the U.S.  Considering the Bush Administration refuses to negotiate a cease-fire while supporting Israel in the form of munitions and financial aid. Considering 10 billion dollars in guaranteed loans to Israel to build their great barrier imprisoning the Palestinian people in their own homes making it impossible for them to travel, do business and live a normal life. Considering we imposed the suspension of billions in financial and humanitarian aid to Palestinian government, slowly starving and suffocating an entire people. But lets not forget who the terrorist are, obviously we should fear them. After all, they’re a third world starving nation.
