Condi Feels Lebanon’s PainPosted on Jul 25, 2006By Mr. Fish
Advertisement New and Improved CommentsWe are launching a major overhaul of our comments section. In addition to more robust spam filtering and moderation, new features include the ability to rate other comments, sort how they are displayed and respond directly via e-mail or in a thread. Unfortunately, commenters will lose their existing Truthdig identities. It's a pain, we know, but on the plus side you will now be able to log in with a plethora of options, including Google, Twitter, Facebook and Disqus accounts. Before launching this system we spent months in discussion with our top commenters. We listened to the feedback and we hope you like what we've come up with. Please direct any problems or concerns to us via our contact page. |

Right on. This is a good representation of what the US thinks of Lebenon. Granted, it’s a very in-your-face characature, Mr. Fish, you have captured the essence of Condoleezza Rice. Well done.

The comment section sorts out those in favour of the death and murder of civilians. The current events have nothing to do with defending anything; it’s very clear this is offensive in so many ways.

Well, «Maxim», now we know where you stand (crawl ?), even if we don’t know who you are. Is this what is meant by «guerilla tactics» ?...

While people who can usually be relied upon to think for themselves against the prevailing orthodoxy, like Pat Oliphant, Tony Auth, Steve Sack, Ben Argent - and even, to my surprise, Ann Telnaes - have in the case of the Israeli war on Lebanon and Gaza shown how difficult it is for people in public position in the United States to portray Israel as anything but an aggrieved victim, Mr Fish, along with a few others like Ted Rall, has upheld the honour of US cartoonists. How I wish there were more like him !...
