Tony Platt, professor emeritus at San Jose State University, is the author, with Cecilia O'Leary, of "Bloodlines: Recovering Hitler's Nuremberg Laws, From Patton's Trophy to Public Memorial", and "Grave Matters: Excavating California's Buried Past" as well as numerous other works. His essays have appeared in Monthly Review, Z magazine, Los Angeles Times, Souls, and Social Justice and he serves as secretary of the Coalition to Protect Yurok Cultural Legacies at O-pyuweg.
