Barry Golson is the author of Gringos in Paradise: An American Couple Builds Their Retirement Dream House in a Seaside Village in Mexico. (Scriber, Nov. 2006) Most recently Barry co-authored, with wife Thia Golson, the book "Retirement Without Borders: How to Retire Abroad--in Mexico, France, Italy, Spain, Costa Rica, Panama, and Other Sunny, Foreign Places (And the Secret to Making It Happen Without Stress)." The book was developed from an article in AARP magazine, for which Golson was awarded the Lowell Thomas Travel Writing Award in 2004. Internet Life, the former executive editor of Playboy, TV Guide and World Press Review. Golson supervised the Playboy Interviews for 14 years and is the author of The Playboy Interviews I and II anthologies, published by Putnam.
