About the Author
Moshe Adler teaches economics at Columbia University and at the Harry Van Arsdale Center for Labor Studies at Empire State College. Adler is also an economic consultant, specializing in the effects of government policies on the work environment. He is the author of "Economics for the Rest of Us: Debunking the Science That Makes Life Dismal" (The New Press, 2010). His articles and editorials have appeared in The New York Times, the Washington Post, the Los Angeles Times, and Counterpunch, as well as in the most prestigious academic journals.
