Mitt Romney has consistently avoided talking about his Mormon faith throughout this presidential campaign. But a day before the election, a video in which a visibly upset Romney defends his religion after a conservative Iowa radio talk show host quizzes him about it is making the Internet rounds.
The video, reportedly from 2007 when Romney first sought the nomination, features the GOP candidate discussing his views on issues ranging from the second coming of Jesus Christ to abortion.
“I’m not running as a Mormon,” he says adamantly. “And I get a little tired of coming on a show like yours and having it all about Mormon.”
