Taliban Suicide Attack Kills 19, Including 5 Americans

The Taliban has claimed responsibility for a suicide bombing Tuesday that targeted a U.S. convoy in Kabul, killing 19 people and marking the deadliest day so far this year for American troops in Afghanistan. In addition to the bomber, the dead included five Americans. Tuesday was also the day the death toll among U.S. forces in Afghanistan passed the 1,000 mark.
