Orrin Hatch’s Hanukkah Song

Can someone explain how über-Mormon Sen. Orrin Hatch came to write a Hannukah song? Oh wait, Jeffrey Goldberg just did and took all the fun out of it. Better to not know, and watch the video. Although it’s worth mentioning that Hatch’s explanation to The New York Times was “Anything I can do for the Jewish people, I will do.”
