In these clips from Wednesday’s “The O’Reilly Factor” featuring a cameo by Jon Stewart, Bill O’Reilly and his guest disagree on a few things. This is to be expected. By the end of their tête-à-tête, Stewart and O’Reilly had not reached a workable consensus about the exact nature of Fox News. Is it a “cyclonic perpetual emotion machine” sending forth coherent, if simplified, narratives about complex sociopolitical issues? Or “fair and balanced”? And, more important, is Bill O’Reilly kind of like “the skinny kid at fat camp”? (Stewart, as you might imagine, was the originator of that last characterization.) —KA
