‘It’s All About Joe’

Those feisty progressives are at it again, running an ad against Joe Lieberman that features the actual chairman of the Connecticut for Lieberman party—but what exactly is the Connecticut for Lieberman party?

Lieberman set up the organization for his last Senate run, after Democrats bounced him, but he has nothing to do with it these days—other than the fact that it’s named after him.

John Mertens, the star of the ad below, is clearly no Lieberman fan. He’s no fan of Chris Dodd, Connecticut’s other senator, either. Mertens is challenging Dodd as an independent in the next election.
