Supreme Court nominee Sonia Sotomayor finally got a chance to respond to the “wise Latina” quote (“I would hope that a wise Latina woman with the richness of her experiences would, more often than not, reach a better conclusion”) that inspired massive GOP criticism and bigotry around her nomination.
