Navy Plane Crashes in San Diego Neighborhood

Just before noon Monday, a U.S. Navy F-18 jet crashed into a San Diego neighborhood as it was approaching Miramar Naval Air Station, hitting at least one home. According to various sources, including this MSNBC report, the pilot is believed to have ejected from the plane before the crash. As of Monday afternoon it was unknown whether any injuries occurred on the ground.

Update: On Tuesday, CNN reported that three people were killed in the crash.
