
Uh, in what way does putting Barack Obama on a food stamp mock-up, surrounded by fried chicken, ribs and watermelon, not read as racist? Well, Diane Fedele, the Chaffey Community Republican Women of California member who unwisely decided to include the “Obama Bucks” image on the organization’s newsletter, insists it isn’t at all racially problematic.
However, as television station KCAL’s Kristine Lazar discovered on Friday, two members of the Chaffey women’s group don’t agree with Fedele’s take on the “Obama Bucks” image, even if Fedele’s husband and daughter defiantly defend her perspective.
