Obama on Lipstick and Pigs: ‘Enough!’

In case you haven’t heard, Barack Obama has been sucked into the vortex of another absurd media storm courtesy of John McCain’s Rovian acolytes. If he plays it right, the Democrat could turn controversy to conquest.

During the primary, both Hillary Clinton and McCain championed a gas tax holiday widely disparaged by economists. Obama took the high ground—and let everyone know. Doing the right thing turned out to be the right thing, politically.

Watching Obama’s response to this latest non-controversy, we wonder if this isn’t a great opportunity to make his opponent look ridiculous.
