Bill Clinton on Obama’s ‘Fairy Tale’ Campaign
Posted on Jan 8, 2008
Hillary isn’t the only Clinton to be rattled by Barack Obama. Bill Clinton describes the Obama campaign and, more specifically, Obama’s opposition to the war, as “the biggest fairy tale I’ve ever seen.” It’s getting negative out there.
Actually, this kind of reversal has been a recurring theme in the campaign. Bill Clinton, after all, won in part by arguing that judgment is more important than experience. His was the presidential campaign that came out of nowhere to upset the status quo and he and Hillary once earned comparisons to the Kennedys. And now, the boy from Hope who grew up to be president is talking about fairy tales.
Watch it here.
