Although Attorney General Alberto Gonzales was characteristically dodgy during last week’s questioning by the Senate Judiciary Committee about just who had dispatched him in March 2004 to persuade an ailing John Ashcroft to approve an illegal wiretapping program, The New York Times leaves little mystery that it was Vice President Dick Cheney.  Here, Daily Kos posts a clip of Gonzales’ vague responses about the incident.
