‘What a Preposterous First Question’

George Galloway, the Scottish MP who came to international prominence for his outspoken opposition to the war in Iraq, engages in a heated (and abusive) debate with a Sky News anchor over the morality of the Israel-Hezbollah conflict. We don’t agree with Galloway on everything, but this is the rare shouting match with substance.

Throw Away Your TV:

This will probably ruffle some feathers, George Galloway interviewed on Sky News to discuss the Lebanon (Hizbullah) / Israel conflict. I could attempt writing about the content of the discussion, but I would rather not.

One thing that did raise my eyebrow was when Galloway reminded us that Sky News is owned by Rupert Murdoch (News Corp, Fox News etc..) Knowing this take a step back and look at how the news program is presented (the format, the questions, accusations)it’s really bizarre to watch considering the content coming from each end of the interview.
