WikiLeaks Has a New CommercialPosted on Jun 28, 2011
The biggest threat to WikiLeaks isn’t the house arrest of Julian Assange or the militaries of frustrated world governments—it’s the financial blockade by PayPal, Bank of America, Visa and other institutions that has cut off $15 million in donations (by WikiLeaks’ estimate). It would have been nice to see something more creative in WikiLeaks’ first commercial (as far as we know) than a trite MasterCard parody, but then again MasterCard is one of the financial organizations blocking donations. For more from WikiLeaks on the donation blockade, click here. —PZS What Does it Cost to Change the World? from WikiLeaks on Vimeo.
