Zack Kopplin, right, with Bill Maher on Friday night’s episode of “Real Time.”

On Friday night’s episode of “Real Time with Bill Maher,” 19-year-old science education activist and former Truthdigger of the Week Zack Kopplin showed how one should handle a conservative pundit who rattles off inane talking points in order to advocate for science spending cuts.

After Kopplin explained that there is a “huge return investment” for science funding, Wall Street Journal columnist and conservative economist Stephen Moore attempted to refute the point in a condescending manner by bringing up a National Science Foundation study on snail mating habits and asking if that wasn’t a waste of taxpayer dollars.

Kopplin’s priceless response: “We’ve been over this; you’re not a scientist.”

A minute later, host Bill Maher and panelist Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., debunked another one of Moore’s talking points, this one dealing with corporate tax rates in America.
