I turned it on for a few minutes just to see that there was nothing to see.

David - Even I, a consummate cynic, find your negativity to be contrived and, frankly predictable. We all get that Obama doesn’t fit into your perfect vision of the world, but for god’s sake man, give it a rest.
You would be far more palatable if you lambasted and skewered idiots such as Ryan who are truly evil. They are the real enemies.

Although I was unable to watch it, I read the speech in its entirety. (Which is actually more instructive, since you eliminate all the “pomp and circumstance,” and “cult of personality”). I found the speech lackluster, mostly predictable, and filled with lots of promises he will likely break or compromise away.
And for the record, I agree with DJC re “clean” coal, “natural” gas, and the ultimate outcome of the repeal of DADT.
Peace.

Re: ObamaCare’s accounting burden for small business:
If we actually had healthcare, it would be Single-Payer, and then no employer would be Obama “burdened with unnecessary bookkeeping” because no employees would be sickness nurturing claim denying medical insurance “benefit” shackled to their employers.
Re: Obama’s “CLean” Energy initiative:
Clean coal doesn’t exist, and “natural” gas, which is now un-natural shale gas is not clean either.
