Bill Maher made an offer that Donald Trump couldn’t refuse. On Monday’s “The Tonight Show,” Maher jokingly said he would give $5 million to a charity of the billionaire businessman’s choice if Trump could prove he wasn’t the spawn of a human and an orangutan. Trump accepted the offer a day later and released his birth certificate. Now, the billionaire reality television host says he’ll sue Maher if the “Real Time” star doesn’t pay up.

“[Maher] made the offer, I accepted his offer, and he owes me $5 million, which I am going to give to charity. If doesn’t pay the money we will probably sue him,” Trump told AJ Calloway during an interview on “Extra.”

“You are going to sue him?” Calloway asked.

“Yeah, I think so. I mean, he made an offer, we accepted the offer. I’d probably sue him,” Trump answered.

So far, Maher hasn’t responded, but look for him to do so via Twitter, or on “Real Time” when it returns to HBO on Jan. 18.
