I do not trust any of the major US news outlets, and CNN is the bottom of the barrel.

All they care about is money.  If you want to be assaulted by pop ups, and amazingly garish ads, go here,

I get my news from the BBC. No ads. No pop ups.

It’s not perfect, but it is Journalism.

I’ve started my own blog.  The themes are spirituality and pro-progressive politics.
