Sights and Sounds From Glenn Beck’s Ego FestivalPosted on Aug 29, 2010
Our morbid curiosity got the better of us and we went looking for video documentation of Glenn Beck’s “Restoring Honor Rally.” Check out Sarah Palin speechifying, Beck describing himself as savior of America (sigh) and the inevitable music video. With all that ranted…. I feel sorry for Glenn, I don’t agree with that religion on MANY points and have studied scripture with them, so not just blindly judging from mass consensus.
Looks like Glenn, much like all the other blunt objects hired to run the chattel, is also not aware of his surroundings, or like some, would rather keep the status quot to further their life span ( avoid an ‘accident’ or ‘untimely’ death ) and keep their comfortable position.

I’m not surprised so-called priests are found doing what they’re doing and so on.
Blame the evil we all have to deal with whilst on this plain… for that, unfortunately, does exist.
Follow the truth in love as it pierces your heart… for that is real yet easily misunderstood.
Don’t blame the messenger, for he was written about long ago and said all this would happen, and it doesn’t matter.. and just like back then when they killed him, it wasn’t cool to be with him… much like those who are REALLY with aren’t the coolest.
As for folks claiming to follow him, whether they are sincere, crazy, devout and actually decent and spiritual… realize that in pursuit of perfection, we ALL MISERABLY FAIL… especially folks with the spotlight on them…
And it is this very messenger’s Words which describe the peaceful way out of the Economic Slavery State… out of the evil we may sometimes fumble onto one another.

Wasn’t Christianity the result of what a meek Jewish carpenter, rejected and libeled by his society and murdered at their demand by the hand of the State…
...whose emperor BECAME Christian, perhaps out of consciousness or out of strategy to capture the humbled and taxed masses for this new religion, which one’s membership in it was cause for MURDER and only publicly denying the Christ would save your physical ‘hide?
... nonetheless this underground sect / new-path / the spiritual Kingdom had now been thrust into the public sector and WATERED DOWN to society’s moral standard… pluralism, apologizing for scripture / prophecy and adjusting basic principles for the crowd’s itching ears…..

nice responses to this, to me most notably gerard & Peter Knopfler,
It’s evident Glenn is so emotional he cannot ration sensible thoughts sometimes, as happens to us all.
Who can one trust in political office who hasn’t been tainted by the serpents, vultures and rats that run it? Or the deceit of promised wealth and power to choose AGAINST one’s conscience?

Where is the “truth” in the report? Does no one just report facts? Do you think you have to tell people what is stupid, unbalanced or prejudice? Move on, truthseekers, nothin to see here.

So many follow Beck and Palin along with all the other political mouthpieces given a platform and credence through the MSM. Why? The link below is a very good film with a lot of original footage. It explores the propaganda campaign through the past century to present. It’s well worth the time, even if you can only do bite-size chunks, imo.

WHERE IS THE SEPARATION OF CHURCH FROM STATE. Where is the balance, We do not need more religion/God we need sense, some smarts, intellect, there are many dummies in the public, sheep are easy to find. If you living in a glass house do not throw stones. One liners for Beck, Beck and Sharpton, two book ends. Separate CHURCH FROM STATE separate GOD from POLITICS. Keep religion to yourself, We need leaders not religious leaders, sometimes speaking the truth does not include God! Faith that Beck speaks of is BLIND FAITH, falls into the ditch everytime! Also Obama is half white, what happened, only the black half is talked about WHY IS THAT. Yes Glen Becks hero is Hitler, MY Struggle by Glen Beck. Collective salvation Oh Wow! Paradise on the way. Separate church from State the Rabbi on the cross was not a Christian, so deny the Jew in Jesus/Yashua come home. There is nothing to understand Glen is a recovered alcoholic, that uses public attention instead of The Bottle. He still does not know his butt from his head! Very entertaining Jon Stewart next. At least he is funny! unlike THE BECK.

One big problem: Glenn Beck (and millions of others including ourselves if we are not careful) are in love with words. We are apt to think words reveal truth and truth is immutable and we are going to find it, and if they do not—then what?
Report thisSo “individual salvation” is different from (and preferable to) “liberation theology” because “individual salvation” is “safe” (non-political) and “liberation theology” is political, therefore not “safe.” Thus his rally was “non-political” and he counselled people, as individuals, not as a party, (avoiding being tainted by “tea party nut-ism) to “return to God” as though religion and politics are two distinct and separate things, one safe, the other dangerous etc. etc.
The trouble is Glenn Beck is not alone in the fact that, as he said, “inconsistencies bother me”. That’s at the heart of our problem.
Life is too inconsistent, too multifaceted, too fluid, too complicated to be put into words, yet we have been taught to read and believe because “words” equals “learning” and “In the Beginning was the Word” and ... on and on.
We are being thrown back on the unpredictability of instinct, sensitivity and—heaven help us—impulse. What is true for me is not true for you, and one of us has got to be right!
Besides, how does it feel to be jobless, homeless, ignorant, old, helpless, deceived, manipulated? How does it feel to be constantly told to be afraid? And after that, what shall I do? What shall we do? What will they do?
It’s all there in Glenn Beck if we will and can relate to the limits yet the dangerous power of language and the importance of intuition, forebearance and fellow-feeling.
In the darkness, anybody who promises light can become king—unless the inner light of being human shines through. Indefineable, intangible, ineffable—and to be confined or defined in any dictionary. How do we behave in the dark?

Where do you get your info on Track Palin’s military record?

On the APnews today about this rally, it quoted a statement from Sarah the Liar. She said her son was a combat vet in Iraq for one year. That is a lie. He never was a combat vet and for only one year? How come many service people are on their 4th or 5th tours of duty or more when this son of the privileged corrupt talking head was there for 1 year? He never served in combat either. When Sarah was running for V.P. she made it very clear that Track(stupid name for a kid anyway)was to be a chauffeur to drive the military and political elite around inside of the Green Zone only. She must have conveniently forgot that part of what was said in 2008, but I didn’t forget it. Maybe he never even went to Iraq at all, wouldn’t be the first lie she has told. And besides very few children of the political parties ever go into the military. That is just for the poor people who because there are practically no jobs available end up in the military as a last resort.
And if Beck is the savior for America, ask yourself are we really worth saving if all we have available to save us is Glenn Beck? Really, if that crackpot is the best we have to offer, we don’t need saving as bad as he and his non-thinking goon squad of the “reload mentality”(Sarah the Liar) tea party people might believe. After all they are only sheeple.
People like this scare those of us who live in reality and actually can think for ourselves and don’t live in their world of having to be told what to do and how to think.

Maybe I missed a meeting, but I find it strange that Sarah Palin speaks about honor when she did the avariciously honorable action of abandoning her elected civic responsibilities as Alaska’s Governor, in order to pursue her own particular form of media market branding. In another context, that would be called “cut and run”.
Report thisAs for the rally, confused notions about reality should be expected. But one thing is certain: in the United States militarism is embraced by both the left and right political persuasion, they simply disagree on what exactly are the right wars.

“Palin, in her speach, says the country is at a perilous moment.”
Report thisYeah. No kidding. Maybe the most perilous moment it’s ever faced. With people like Palin, Beck, Limbaugh and Rupert Murdoch in control of the national conversation, and bent on perverting the nation to their own ends, I’d say it’s a perilous moment.
With legitimate news a quaint pastime for eggheads, and some 60% plus of the population saying Fox is the most trustworthy news source, and Fox leading the charge (we now know the Republicans work for Fox, not the other way around) to solidify the 30 year slide into neo-feudalism begun in the reign of Saint Ronald of Hollywood.
Is it any wonder that Hitler relied on American propaganda methods, born of the advertising industry, even as far back as the 1920’s, to put across his takover of Germany? And here we are, almost a century later, falling for the greatest propaganda blitz in history.
“American advertising and propaganda has been refined over the years into a malevolent science, based on the assumption that most people react, not to ideas, but to naked emotion,” according to Paul Weber in “Propaganda: Nobody does it better than America.”
We are now enjoying the fruits of that malevolent science, with tears and pride handing over the nation to a cabal of demagogues financed by corporate and super-rich puppet-masters who want nothing less than total economic and social domination.

The truth is that an overwhelming number of Americans deplore this madness, but because they are Americans, they see no way to stop it. You know, freedom and all.
You’re just not free to point that out on the Fox network. So the real truth is not told.
It’s called propaganda. And the conservative propaganda machine is incessant. There’s nothing funny about it, when liberal media tags along, jesting, joking, and all the while promoting the conservative message too.
You’ve heard about all the silly Republican politicians running for office this year? Yes?
Heard much on liberal media of their reasonable, responsible Democratic opponents?
So, you heard about the 20,000 people sitting there in DC? How about the 310,000,000 that weren’t?

What Thomas Frank wrote about in WHAT’S WRONG WITH KANSAS has become a national political movement. These people have given up their children’s and grandchildren’s economic future in exchange for moral self-righteousness, the bible, and their take on the constitution. It is a phenomenon unique in history and defies all attempts to understand it.
