Still running to his right, Mitt Romney tells Fox News that rival Rick Santorum isn’t fiscally conservative enough to be his vice president.

Romney did not say that he would not choose Santorum as his running mate.  He said that, if he were to choose someone to the right of himself (he did not acknowledge than anyone was), then Santorum would not fit the bill.  That’s not the same thing.
