Robert Scheer on the Connecticut School Shooting and Gun Control

In the aftermath of the tragic Sandy Hook Elementary School mass shooting, Truthdig Editor-in-Chief Robert Scheer weighed in on gun control laws, the powerful weapons lobby and the possible renewal of the assault weapons ban during an extended interview on KPFA’s “The Sunday Show with Philip Maldari.”

“The gun lobby has been able to make this whole discussion irrational,” Scheer says. “And politicians of both parties, more Republican than Democrats, go along with it.”
