POTUS and FLOTUS: Get in the (Midterm) GamePosted on Oct 20, 2010
Barack and Michelle Obama are clearly aware, in this perky lil’ PSA number, of how the results of next month’s midterm elections could dramatically change the tone of the presidency for the next two years, but they don’t come out and say as much. Instead, they flash winning smiles and talk about getting out the vote for our children’s sake. Yes, think of the children! —KA YouTube: Advertisement Previous item: Hillary Clinton to LGBTQ Youth: ‘Hang in There’ Next item: Christine O’Donnell’s Staggering Ignorance New and Improved CommentsIf you have trouble leaving a comment, review this help page. This time around, it’s kids who are pimped. But America, not unlike Rome will get what it deserves. Obama, in the end, is the perfect icon for a two-dimensional country without any soul. He, not unlike Christine O’Donnell (the “I am you” ad) represents the core-reality of America.
“I serve as a blank screen, on which people of vastly different political stripes
project their own views.”
(Obama, from The Audacity Of Hope.)

Mr. and Mrs. Wizard of Oz. Yes, they are clueless. Obama should have taken off his coat and rolled up his sleeves - a trick as old as Juan Peron and Evita.

Well if the Democrats lose big that will make blaming the Republicans easier, since
that’s all they care about anyway. And if they win, then it will make it harder to blame
them. So it’s lose lose if they win.
No matter what happens we all lose.

I love the tie-less, rumpled-collar appeal to us “ordinary schmucks! Are these people clueless, or what?
