YouTube/OWSlawsuit

It was a quiet winter for Occupy Wall Street. As the blogo- and Twitter-spheres light up this May Day with reports of unrest in the streets of New York City and beyond, spend a few minutes with this video refresher of the NYPD’s rough tactics with protesters and journalists last fall.

The video contains clips that will be used as evidence in a court battle pitting journalists, activists and politicians against New York City and the NYPD. The dispute is over the department’s alleged interference with media coverage of key OWS events and multiple arrests of journalists. —ARK

interesting to see how far that court battle gets….......

watching the first few seconds where the guy gets arrested for refusing the cop’s
order to stop using the megaphone suggests that it’s not gonna get too far.
