O’Reilly Revels in Correctness After ‘Obamacare’ VotePosted on Mar 23, 2010
After the health care reform bill cleared the House on Sunday, were Fox Newsers like Bill O’Reilly forced to eat their hats? Never! Or, at least, not in O’Reilly’s case. In fact, he’d like to point out, as he did on Monday’s “O’Reilly Factor,” that “we have been correct in our analysis of the health care controversy on all the major points.” But as Gawker noted Tuesday, his viewers weren’t all that accurate with their prognostications. —KA YouTube: Advertisement Previous item: Obama: ‘This Government Still Works’ Next item: Netanyahu Comes to Israel’s Defense at AIPAC Conference New and Improved CommentsIf you have trouble leaving a comment, review this help page. Little do the cons realize that by giving Obama’s name
to this historic health care reform they inadvertently
cement his legacy to a very possibly (after much
tweaking) popular and revered program.
I can see them now 40 years hence carrying signs

O’Reilly pulls more Houdini acts for ‘looking after you’. He’s a real life Karmak the Magnificent.

Old-time mentalists and magii used to travel around the US making predictions about the future. Their “amazing” abilities were mostly founded in making contradictory predictions in different geographic places so they could claim accuracy in one place and ignore their failures in others. Ordinary people tend to remember when the magician gets an incredible prediction correct - and forget when the trick goes a little sour.
O’Reilly and others like him ramble on and on like the Oracle at Delphi or the enigmatic truisms of the Yi Ching. He pats himself on the back when he can twist a few of his quips into being “correct” - and never refers to the ocean of mistakes he did elsewhere. Has anyone actually refuted Erik Van Daniken’s stuff yet ?
Face it: Faux Snooze is an entertainment medium - “news” is merely an accidental by-product.
Here’s my prediction du jour:
A human female will some day give birth to the offspring of an extraterrestrial alien.
(Take THAT, Nostradamus !)
