Obama Drops In on ‘MythBusters’Posted on Nov 23, 2010
President Obama is making a cameo appearance on “MythBusters”—and no, it’s not to prove once and for all that he was born in Hawaii. Instead, he’s interested in something called Archimedes’ solar ray, being a giant nerd and all. Below is the slightly dorky teaser for the special POTUS episode of the Discovery Channel show, airing Dec. 8. —KA MythBusters via Perez Hilton:

@squeeky why would u make it seem like it was obama that put the rules in place to allow it to happen? now granted he didnt make sure the people who were responsible for doing these things during the BUSH administration were punished for there war crimes. it would make more since to do those things to bush. obama has done more to help the country than bush did. but what would u expect from a country that that didnt even punish german war criminals. they were givin assylum and there even worse crimes exspunged. sorry for the bad spelling. but im sure u get the point.

On the day Ronald Reagan was elected president, a friend and I went out to a field he was using for tests on a reflective solar water heater with insulation over the top of the tank. A parabolic reflector bounced the light up onto the bottom of the tank.
Report thisHe and I were both working at the time on small grants from DOE at Los Alamos for low-tech solar research, along with other small business R&D people in the area.
When we reached his heater we saw that it was in pieces on the ground! He had got the curve of the reflector too tight. Rather than a several inch band of light to heat the water in the tank, he had created a 1/8th inch wide band of high intensity ray that, in its path across the 2x4 frame of the prototype heater, had burned through the wood and destroyed the unit.

Report thisstrapping Obama to a board shoving a water soaked rag down his throat, then shoving a garden hose down his throat turning on the faucet on all the way full blast of water is torture, or just an inconvenience.
