In yet another sweeping gesture that surely turned the stomachs of many of his opponents, President Barack Obama signed financial reform legislation on Wednesday, standing afterward with a similarly triumphant-looking Joe Biden and declaring, “These reforms represent the strongest consumer financial protections in history.” And just in case you didn’t catch that the first time, he went ahead and said it again: “In history.”  —KA

IT doesn’t matter what Obama and his thugs do…Hussein Obama will either be isolated and contained by his own party and the GOP in the November elections…

...and every single piece of Marxist, government control legislation this thug and his czars have constructed will be destroyed.

Hussein Obama will be a one-time mess, and considered the worst President in American history. And here we thought it couldn’t get any worse than Jimma Carter.

Twenty percent of the GOP voters voted for Obama. Wanna know why?  So that the American people who had been toying with Marxism and socialism for a number of years…could get a really good taste of it..and stop the silliness.

Those 20% got their wish. I can hardly find anyone, including my one-time proObama black friends who like this thug in chief…he screwed them just as he screwed all of the US.

Obama is such an amateur…and a light weight. And he is NOT intelligent. He’s only clever. Clever people never look at the long-term, but only live in the moment.

Truly intelligent people understand the depth of their actions, cause and affect, and reality. Obama lives in some kind of socialist collective utopian dream world…and if the truth were known, can be diagnosed as some kind of Paranoid Schizophrenia with a comorbid Messianic Narcissistic Personality Disorder.

And Michelle? OMG! With those muscled up arms of hers, she looks like some kind of farm hand who spent her life picking cotton. For the life of me, I cannot imagine a President’s wife…jumping around and acting like a 12 year old, and thinking we would respect her ability to act like a juvenile. No other Presidents’ wife in history has ever resorted to such hysteria and theatrics….worse, she thinks we like it!

Not a single of the past and future “achievements” of this president will matter for me. For me he is the president who voluntarily (the legacies of the Bush administration did not oblige him to do so) sent at least another 30,000 young Americans into the hellhole that is Afghanistan. How anyone can vote for him in 2012 and for his supporters in Congress in 2010 is way beyond my comprehension. It smacks of masochism.

the only thing prez Barry didn’t do was hang a “Mission Accompliced” banner behind him while he took yet another victory lap after passing more mediocre legislation.

Congrats Barry, you have once again proven to be Ronny ray guns in blackface.

Sad. It’s just sad. Declaring victory really shows his target audience. People stupid enough to take that declaration on his word.

This really is a sad time. If I were a Republican running for President I would just shut my mouth and let Obama’s campaign promises do the talking.

I know I shouldn’t get upset about things like this, but it seems like there is absolutely nothing to even have hope for. Am I alone there? Don’t get me wrong, I was never naive enough to think that electing Obama would magically eliminate the corporate stranglehold or reverse the military-oriented farce of an economy we’re enjoying, but it seems like he’s just picking up where W left off and carrying the torch.

Maybe it’s just more personally frustrating because of the whole “change” promise. I’m sure most of us didn’t expect miracles, but it seems to be the exact opposite. It feels insulting. Like the current administration is saying this is what happens if you let campaign propaganda promising an improvement enter your mind for even a split second.

Is the Obama administration just a gimmick to push public opinion so far in one direction that when it fails and the rubber band snaps in the other direction we don’t question what happens when the opposing party steamrolls over what we (people with open eyes) were hoping would actually change?

...And a few months later we’re back to realizing how hopeless the system is right now. These Obama victory speeches will look so cheesy and sad 20 years from now.

The “Obama Financial Reform Strategy” was the same as the “Obama Health Care
Reform Strategy”:

You dont want much, you dont get much, you declare victory !

(Key tactic: Just do what the industry wants.)

Those who have read this report that it is a sell out to the Financial Industry which, by the way, had lobbyists looking over the shoulder of legislators and had more than a hand in writing the thing. Further, now that it will go to committee or committees who will write the specific regulations, lobbyists and industry “representatives” will be consulted every step of the way. One might expect that real regulation is yet but a dream.

We voted for leadership with ” hope and change”. Instead we got a mediator that

By “consumer” he means “the Banks”—and they’re
consuming US.  And they are protected now.  So he’s not
lying.
