Cordoba House plan
youtube.com

Following a sometimes lively debate Tuesday night, a Manhattan community board voted in favor of a plan to build the Cordoba House, a mosque and Muslim cultural center, near ground zero. The vote was mostly for symbolic purposes, as the project could go ahead without it, according to The Associated Press, but it served as a show of local support and solidarity.  —KA

Maybe we should let Larry Silverstein build a synogogue or temple there instead.

Unbelievable!  Hey, I’ve got an idea…let’s build a tribute to fallen Nazi German soldiers ANYWHERE in Israel.  Makes sense to me.

The mosque at Ground Zero should be allowed immediately after the Jews finish building a grand temple in Mecca!

I have no problem with a mosque there. my problem is with people who feel
obliged to wear costumes to express their fatih-be they catholic, jewish, muslim, I
dont care. the catholic clergy cracks me up with theirs, must be expensive!
bullshit walks, action talks. Be human, that’s all.
dont wear your religion on your shirtsleeve, so to speak, just follow the Golden
Rule.

Worldwide, muslims have been more a victim of the 9/11 fraud than anyone.

Qui bono?

I’m all for building a mosque in any location.

I have zero fear of mosque’s going up near ground zero.

What a slap in the face to America.  I am not anti muslin, anti mosque, but I am
sure there were other, less controversial locations to build a huge mosque that
goes up 23 stories.

This belongs in the same category as allowing Ghadafi’s son (Libya, and think Pan
Am here) to invest $100m in hollywood.  Wow.  Yet, our nation punishes kids who
steal CD’s with severe prison terms.

Power and justice only affect the wealthy.
