Sounds of Michael Brown Shooting Allegedly Caught in Audio Clip

A new audio clip released by an unidentified man from Ferguson, Mo., allegedly captures the shooting of Michael Brown on Aug. 9. In the 12-second recording, a man’s voice is heard seemingly complimenting the looks of another anonymous person while what sounds like at least 10 gunshots ring out in the background.

Of particular interest is the fact that there is a short time gap between two different spurts of gunfire. Whether the audio footage actually captures the sounds from the scene of Brown’s death has not yet been confirmed, but here is a video report from CNN, the first news outlet to run the audio:
