Posted on Dec 1, 2010

Mike Huckabee, who might just run for president again, says “whoever in our government leaked that information is guilty of treason and I think anything less than execution is too kind a penalty.”

The action starts about 3:30 into the following clip:

The bloodthirst has even crossed over into Canada, of all places. This goofball wants WikiLeaks honcho Julian Assange assassinated:

What I find truly bewildering about this case is, Julian Assange has broken no laws in the USA, Australia or anywhere else for that matter. If he had, he would be in the slammer already. The rape charges he faces are politically motivated and his legal advisers have poured scorn on the complaint. Compare Mr Assanges treatment to that of Mr Roman Polanski who was accused some 30 years ago of drugging and raping, including anal rape-it’s on the record, a 13 year old girl. He fled to Europe and no real attempt has been made to have him return to Amerika for sentancing. Could it be that Polanski has friends in high places, whilst Assange doesn’t? Is someone able to explain this Amerikan legal paradox?

If Huckabee is so intent that Manning should be executed when there is no proof that his disclosures have lead to anyones death, then perhaps it’s time for Huckabee to pay the piper. As Governor he commuted the sentence of Wayne Dumond who would rape one woman and kill another. He commuted the sentence of Maurice Clemmons who would kill four police in a restaurant in Washington state. Git a rope and I have a large oak tree available for sanctimonious
Mike. The fact that only Ron Paul in the Republican party has called for more disclosures says it all.

informed decisions. And since huck the fuck
wants to be judge jury executioner, well hell, just
god in general, why in hell’s name doesn’t he
look into the events of the home grown terrorist
attack of 9/11/01.

He regales in his position to be the nazi selector
who decides who goes to the ‘showers’ or to the
slave labor camp which in my view ties him to
those home grown terrorists he protects so
diligently. And he just adds more credence to
how horrible religious fervor is to this planet.

Until the attack of 9/11/01 is thoroughly, this
country will only keep getting worse and more
infected by insidious home grown terrorists.

Forget Huckabee. He’s not in charge of anything but his flaccid pork-rind. The problem for the next two years is a President who is afraid to stand-up to a scrapple of old Republican has-beens. Obama, rather, sublimates, flexing his manhood by slaughtering tens of thousands of innocent, defenseless people for no apparent reason. There needs to be a Primary challenger for 2012. Not Hillary, since she boasted with suppressed laughter during her campaign on her instinct to incinerate Iran. How about someone who has balls but is not crazy. For a change.

You must be joking Patrick Henry. The truth about 9/11 is in no way flattering to the state of Israel so I hardly think they would be encouraging transparency and open debate on the issue. Something like Wikileaks is their worst nightmare since they spend most of their time controlling and manipulating the mainstream media.

Nothing new here, just gossip against each other.

Assange is a 9/11 denier and will not offer anything regarding that event.  Another example of why I think he is Israels back pocket and is nothing more than a disinformation campaign.

Question nothing, new here?

That’s a bit rich coming from someone who called me Bozo the clown, question everything. But that’s okay, it’s a free country and that’s your opinion - but you don’t allow me to have my opinion on 9/11 just because it’s different to yours and probably makes you feel threatened. I can assure you I never make any comment that is not thoroughly researched and I’m always very careful of the sources I take information from. I’ve been studying the 9/11 attacks for several years now and from the facts I’ve found in books and elsewhere the official story simply doesn’t stack up (and in fact there are glaring and even comical inconsistencies in the official version of events).  The accusation of rape against Assange doesn’t stack up either.

I don’t put comments on here to be respected but because I believe them to be accurate and relevant and because I feel they might contribute something to the subject being discussed. I don’t think there’s any mandated limit on how many comments you can make but if someone says something uninformed or truly moronic, especially about me or something I’ve said then I think I have a right to put my view.

In an article by Dylan Welch, ‘Timing of Sex Case Sparks Claims of Political Influence’ December 4-5 he makes the following points.

1. The two women involved in the rape claims are members of a Christian political party.

2. The women, according to a lawyer who acted for Assange, sent each other text messages, ‘collaborated and irrevocably tainted each other’s evidence’ before they went to the police.

3. The women admit the sex was consensual but claim that Assange refused to use a condom.

4.When the newspaper “Expressen’ contacted the Swedish prosecutor’s office a ‘spokewoman’ confirmed the investigation related to Assange. As a result Assange learned that he had been accused of rape from the media.

5. After this a google search of ‘Assange’ and ‘rape’ returned 9.2 million hits.

6. Assange is in ’ a strange legal netherworld’. At no point has he or his British lawyers been given access to the evidence against him in English - a requirement under the European Convention on Human Rights.

7. Even his Swedish barrister, Bjorn Hurtig, was not given access to the prosecution’s brief until several hours before a court appearance on November 18. It’s normal practice for a defense lawyer to be given at least a month to examine a brief of evidence before being expected to make legal submissions to it.

8. The case was announced by a junior prosecutor but within days it was taken up by a senior prosecutor, Eva Finne. Finne dropped the rape charges after examining the evidence. Assange stayed in Sweden and was interviewed by Swedish police on August 31. The next day Marianne Sy, the Director of Prosecutions in Sweden took the case over and announced that she was reopening the rape investigation due to ‘new information’.

9. Assange sought and was given permission to leave Sweden in October.

10. Hurtig has suggested that the haste with which this all unfolded is because of political interference by the United States: ‘I do find it strange…that Interpol has made the arrest warrant public simultaneous to Wikileaks releasing its latest revelations. My mind remains open as to whether Prosecutor Ny has been influenced by any third party considerations.’

11. A statement on the Prosecutor’s office website reads, ‘Julian Assange has been detained in his absence charged with rape, sexual molestation and coercion’. This, in spite of the fact that he left Sweden with the full knowledge and permission of the police and presumably Prosecutor Ny and that the sex is admitted by both women to have been ‘consenual’.

The thing to remember here, is that Nelson Mandela was in jail for twenty seven years, but that didn’t make him a criminal: it made him a political prisoner who was a threat to the fascist apartheid state. Or to put it another way it’s like charging the man who stood in front of the tank in Tienamen Square with being a danger to tanks - or perhaps that should be banks in view of pending Wikileaks revelations on America’s bank gangs.

Julian Assange has done a great service to the US and
the world. He opened what heretofore has been a
‘secretive and malignant’ organizations records and
shown the world what Amerikka thinks about them. It
has also shown the people of Amerikka what their
governments thinking has been about the world’s
population and their governments. Amerikka can no
longer claim to be the bastion of freedom that it
once held itself out to be. We are fast becoming a
fascist government run by the corporatocracy. We, the
people are nothing more than sheeple to these
‘characters’ which have control of the bureaucracy of
our nation. Which bureaucracy was and is unelected
and unresponsive to the true government of this
nation, the people! Given this and other disturbing
trends in Amerikka, we now have no choice but
revolution of the highest order. We can no longer
stand these kind of elitist thinking and acting
‘people’ running our government. For the sake of your
children and future generations of this country, take
back this nation from the hands of the elitist power
structure. Give peace a chance and the world will be
a better place for the removal of the current power

I agree squeaky jones but just like Spec. Joseph Darby who revealed what was going on at Abu Ghraib he can expect death threats. Darby is now in some kind of witness protection program and had to leave the town where he lived. When people of conscience are being persecuted by the government and the law I think that’s a clue that you can’t wait until the dust settles, you need to support Assange and Wikileaks and speak out about the right to know the truth and demand that whistle blowers like Manning be protected not persecuted. American democracy is now officially on life support and if the neo cons and the corporations have their way it will be turned off.

The USA Govt has already shown a complete disrespect for it’s own laws, by circumventing them using the ‘legal Black Hole’ at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba.
The American people are subject to US law, but not the government.

Private First Class Bradley Manning is responsible for exposing to the world that the U.S., and Israel political leadership have a profound hatred for democracy, along with other interesting facts.  Private First Class Bradley Manning one day will be a national hero when the dust settles.

You can tell who someone is by who their enemies are: look at who wants Assange taken out - Joe (I’m corrupt and I don’t care who knows it) Lieberman, Palin, Huckabee, DIANNE FUCKING FIENDSTEIN. What Assange wants is for the public to be given the actual truth so they can make informed decisions about their vote and who governs them and how they govern them. What these political criminals want to do is go on giving the public toys instead of the actual facts. When you give a child a toy car it’s not a car that the child can drive out on the highway it’s only a representation of a car. That’s what the elite wants to go on giving its slaves: a mere representation of the truth because the truth would give them knowledge and knowledge is power but they don’t want that knowledge and that power to belong to anyone but them.

The reason they had to manufacture the story about rape in Sweden is that Assange has broken no laws. Daniel Ellsberg was arrested for actually taking copies of the Pentagon Papers but my understanding is that the New York Times was not charged for publishing them and when Ellsberg went to court the judge dismissed the case saying that the public was entitled to the information Ellsberg had provided. Assange is functioning in this case as the publisher and if ever there was a time when the public needed the information he is providing, it’s now. The point is he didn’t leak it, he is not the whistleblower he is just publishing the information the mainstream media is not allowed to publish for the reasons I’ve given above. But I believe the US government wants to ‘purge’ itself of those who have actually become whistleblowers and they want to force Assange to tell them who they are. It’s highly unlikely that he actually knows who they are so the whole circus is just the evil doing what the evil do- supporting each other in their crimes.

How the Government and Its Press Flacks Collude in Lies

What the Wiki-Saga Teaches Us

By PAUL CRAIG ROBERTS

“The reaction to WikiLeaks and its founder, Julian Assange tells us all we need to know about the total corruption of our “modern” world, which in fact is a throwback to the Dark Ages.

Some member of the United States government released to WikiLeaks the documents that are now controversial. The documents are controversial, because they are official US documents and show all too clearly that the US government is a duplicitous entity whose raison d’etre is to control every other government.

The media, not merely in the US but also throughout the English speaking world and Europe, has shown its hostility to WikiLeaks.  The reason is obvious. WikiLeaks reveals truth, while the media covers up for the US government and its puppet states.

Why would anyone with a lick of sense read the media when they can read original material from WikiLeaks?  The average american reporter and editor must be very angry that his/her own cowardice is so clearly exposed by Julian Assange. The american media is a whore, whereas the courageous blood of warriors runs through WikiLeaks’ veins.

Just as american politicians want Bradley Manning executed because he revealed crimes of the US government, they want Julian Assange executed. In the past few days the more notorious of the dumbshits that sit in the US Congress have denounced Assange as a “traitor to america.” What total ignorance. Assange is an Australian, not an american citizen. To be a traitor to america, one has to be of the nationality. An Australilian cannot be a traitor to america any more than an american can be a traitor to Australia. But don’t expect the morons who represent the lobbyists to know this much.

Mike Huckabee, the redneck baptist preacher who was governor of arkansas and, to
america’s already overwhelming shame, was third runner up to the Republican presidential nomination, has called for Assange’s execution. So here we have a “man of God” calling for the US government to murder an Australian citizen.
And americans wonder why the rest of the world hates their guts.

What a smug shit you are, question everything, and you should be fined for false advertising. Question everything? Don’t you mean question everything except the official version of 9/11, a joke story that only a moron would believe. Numerous witnesses saw the plane shot down and Richard Clarke testified to the 9/11 Commission that he had the order to shoot the plane down from Bush on the morning of 9/11. He testified under oath and I believe him, not you: because someone who calls themselves ‘question everything’ and then refuses to question the lynchpin of the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan and the war on terror really isn’t much interested in questioning anything. You obviously don’t know what the United States government and its intelligence services are capable of.  The forerunners of the US corporatocracy started killing people so they could occupy their land and steal their resources in the early 19th century. They haven’t stopped since and anyone who gets in their way will be taken out.

You can’t be a little bit pregnant, either you face what the American political/military/corporate monster has become or you pretend they were not behind 9/11. You can’t have it both ways.

I am with the person who pointed out that Assange is not a citizen, so can not be a traitor. Of course the proper meaning of words has never been the strong point of NewSpeak. If Huckabee wants to prosecute traitors than he would be best served by calling for the trial and execution of George Bush and Dick Cheney, who did commit treason when they doctored the information they used to force the country into War against the only Moslem country that had nothing what so ever to do with 9/11. That is not even to mention the laws against torture that they broke, outing of a intellegence operative, and the breaking of their oath to enforce the laws of the country. To name a few.

For a nation that claims to be ‘Free’ and ‘Democratic’, and answerable to ‘God’, it’s kinda surreal to hear people like Huckerby and Palin(and probably lots of others) calling for the death of Assange. It’s also the height of hypocrisy for ‘Hawks’ in the Pentagon (who have been responsible for the deaths of hundreds of thousands of innocent Iraqi’s, as well as some thousands of young American servicemen and women) squealing that Assange’s actions ‘could result in innocent deaths’ because he released information forwarded to his organisation by Americans, who want all Americans to know what is really going on in Washington, in their name.
The US mainstream press have let American people down completely with their failure to reveal the truth, and people like Assange (and Truthdig etc) are vital in warning Americans what is being done in their name.
Assange is your friend and clowns like Huckerby, Palin, and the people in the “Military Industrial Complex”(who Pres Eisenhower warned you all about, 50 years ago) are your enemies.

@diamond - thanks for another typical bozo the clown statement of the “9/11 conspiracy theory”. Debunked, discarded rubbish. An obvious troll planted to discredit the rest of us.

What’s interesting is Assange is trying to expose criminal behaviour (along w/ the Americans who released the papers, the Times, Guardian etc). Contrast that to the criminals in the video above that openly calls for a man, who is pracitsing freedom of the press, to be “hunted down”. These “responsible men” use such epithets to rile up the barely literate to support their political agenda (he invoked Thacher - lol - another despised war criminal like Blair!)

They’re inciting to violence. Assange didn’t do that. Who’re the criminals? Moving on to the next :organised crime syndicate: The military.

What? support “the troops”? That means support the politicians & their wars of aggression & occupation. Huckabee is a shit. Always was, always will be. He is following in the footsteps of the bloodthirsty God he claims to worship. And, of course, the Canadians are worried. It was a Canadian general at Norad who gave the order for flight 93 to be shot down. Can’t you just imagine how these ghastly serial killers are all shitting their pants? Their ultimate fear is that Wikileaks has or will have the definitive proof of what they did and didn’t do (like sending the US Air Force up to confront the ‘hijackers’) on 9/11. Their fear is that eventually Interpol will be issuing a warrant for Dick Cheney and George W. Bush’s arrest instead of Assange. And how is it that this ‘red notice’ from Interpol is being issued for the first time in history over an allegedly broken condom? Unheard of. It’s all just a Trojan horse to get Assange into American hands where he can be suicided or framed for something else. Does anyone else notice the eerie similarity between the fact that the people who do the right thing are now the criminals while the criminals are protected by the law and by government and how it was in Europe during the Nazi era?

But (no)minds like the Huckster cannot be expected to understand that. They can’t get past “REVENGE.” So embarrassing. So sad.

...for endorsing and promulgating the views of Tim LaHaye whose books advocate the destruction of the U.S. Government in favor of establishing a one-world government centered in Jerusalem and ruled by a dead Jewish man.  Therefore, Huckabee is guilty of treason and execution is too kind a punishment.

Huckabee who calls for an execution of Private First Class Bradley Manning who exposed many things such as Huckabee’s two faced Christian values. Huckabee is not a Christian, but only a fraud playing the charade of look at me I am a Christian, while he goes about doing the devils work.

Where was this man of GOD? when G.W. and Dicko outed Valarie Plame? You betcha!

How about all those repukelican GOPers who are holding up that nuke thing, thus making it more complicated and null and void if not ratified by the end of the year. The party of Mike are the ones actually siding in with Iran and North Korea’s leaders and aiding them against the best interest of America and the rest of the world.

Now that is treason with a capital “T” and therefore,by using Mikes thinking, they also should be put to death. Okay, you grid lock anti American Repugs,GOPers and T.P.ers, line up so Mike and perhaps Sarah to unload you anti-American hacks.Remember what Sarah says, “don’t retreat, reload.”

I’m sure he called for the executions of Scooter Libby and Dick Cheney when they revealed Valerie Plame’s CIA identity. Right Mike?

This is truly amazing. The US government kills thousands of people in all sorts of (illegal) military actions, and there is no guilt associated with that. NO trials, no calls for justice. This man, Asange, runs a web site that publishes information, and he should be killed for what, treason? How can he commit treason, he is not even a US citizen? The fact that people like Huckebee have a public forum and can run for president is terrifying. That he was a Christian pastor, and now says what he says, is most dissapointing.
