Michael Moore: People Should Start to Practice the Words ‘President Romney’Posted on Aug 30, 2012
The Academy Award-winning director is among those predicting a Romney victory in November. Why? Because the right is outstripping the left in money and motivation. And because Obama’s performance over the last four years has discouraged the liberal public. “What is being done to inspire the base?” Moore asked. “I don’t think ads are gonna do it. I think he’s gotta act. He should have started acting four years ago. This is what’s so upsetting to me. ... He should not have compromised with Congress. ... He hasn’t followed through on the things he said he was going to do. ... Young people who voted for him four years ago are not that enthused and are not out there working right now like they were four years ago. And I think the Democrats are depending on our fear of going back to Republicans running the show—that that’s what’s going to motivate enough of our people to get out. I don’t know.” —Posted by Alexander Reed Kelly. HuffPost Live:
