OzarkMichael - The best you can do is accuse my alleged misanthropy/misogyny on being a “leftist?” Just goes to show what a nincompoop you are OM. At least when I reduce the “common American” to his/her rightful place (“consumers of filth and mental lassitude) I give reasons (valid reasons). You on the other hand have nothing but your shallow, bumper sticker twaddle.

Here, let me make you feel better: “Americans are ‘exceptional.’” Aw, that made everything better now didn’t it? Now, let’s bail out some more banks, go overseas and kill lots of brown people and do it in the name of Jesus and Capitalism!!! After all, that’s what Americans have been doing now for decades…..

The majority of Americans ARE IMax and OzarkMichael: mentally lazy, sophomoric, unrefined (crass), untraveled, poorly read, petty, resentful, selfish, riddled with paranoia and incapable of compassion. When dining at McDonald’s they say a prayer for the virtues of capitalism and cheap food. When spitting on their fellow man they just chalk it up to their genius and enterprise.

Dear reader, please take note of what i wrote here at first about misogynism,  and ask yourself if mrfreeze’s defense of misgogyny is reasonable, compassionate, and just.

If you are a common person, please note the contempt that mrfreeze has for you. Read his post a few times for yourself. Think about it for a moment.

Common person, I address this to you! Note well that mrfreeze expresses hatred for everything you do. If you succeed in your vocation, he calls that “spitting” on your fellow man. If you pray, he despises you for it. No matter how much you learn from books or from life itself, mrfreeze thinks you are “mentally lazy” and “poorly read” simply because you might disagree with him. When you give to the poor mrfreeze thinks you are “selfish”. When you have concerns for yourself, for your neighbor, for the world…mrfreeze opines that you are “riddled with paranoia”.

The majority of Leftists are mrfreeze: feigning compassion for their fellow man they express how they want to ‘help’ us, but in an unguarded moment they state in no incertain terms their absolute hatred and contempt for us.

Common American, I write this to you. Do not forget what you have read here today. Understand that whenever Leftists propose a solution to our problems, they are still the same people who have hatred in their heart against everything about us. Leftist solutions will always involve this formula: The state gains power to give us this or that trinket, but in exchange we lose control of your own destiny. They think you and i are unfit to decide anything for ourselves. Not fit to have a say in civics. Not fit to be what we want to be. Perhaps not not fit to live unless we submit to their yoke.

If Leftists like mrfreeze had the power to rearrange the world(and imagine how badly mrfreeze thinks the world needs to be rearranged)how much room do you think he would leave you?

Common person! I know that you prefer to get along with everyone around you. I know that you like to believe the best of everyone. I know that you like to forgive faults. Nevertheless, keep in mind what mrfreeze said today, and never forget the warning that his unguarded words give us. When Leftists like mrfreeze promise you something there is always a price to pay:

It came burning hot into my mind, whatever he said and however he flattered, when he got me home to his house, he would sell me for a slave.

                            ~ John Bunyan

EmileZ -I accept your “challenge” by simply stating that you aren’t even remotely “intellectual.” Most of the time you definitely fit into the sophomoric category. (You’re often a petty little asshole to boot). If you’d read my commentary more closely you would note that I was not “defending” Daisey, merely pointing out that there’s plenty of lying going on out there and if people can’t distinguish between performance art and, let’s say, GWB and his crew lying about WMD’s in Iraq (which only cost us $4 Trillion in the long-run) and Daisey has cost us nothing….well then you go ahead and believe what you want….drivel that it is.

Notice Brian Moynihan’s repeated evocation or the phrase “move forward” (which gives a new ironic meaning to MOVE ON).

Not at all unlike Obama’s “TURN THE PAGE on an era or greed and recklessness” in the SOTU.

@ Mr. Freeze

I don’t think you have the right to call anyone intellectually lazy considering your defense of Mike Daisey, or maybe truth is a sophomoric concept to be ridiculed when such magnificent lies can have such a desirable effect on the latte drinking, theater-going masses.

Big B - My problem with Ozark & IMax isn’t that they often reveal their intellectual vacuousness and lack of a moral compass here like a pervert flashing us his pathetic little pecker in his trench coat…..no, it’s not that….it’s worse:

Yea, don’t you just hate it when Taibbi has the unmitigated gaul to bring up the hows and whys of the worlds largest banks intentionally crashing the US economy in order to harvest what was once the most wealthy nation in the world.

According to the likes of Imax and Ozarkmichael we should all just be proud to be americans as we take it deep in the ass from every sociopathic oligarch with a billion dollars.

We live in a sick reincarnation of the 1890’s, where robber barons ruled over a nation of company towns filled with overworked uneducated serfs. It took plenty of blood and sacrifice (and Teddy roosevelt) to help steer the nation out of that nightmare and on to the greatness we eventually enjoyed in the 50’s and 60’s. The problem is that this time there is no Teddy Roosevelt running, the natural resources are begining to collapse, and the earth just gets warmer and warmer. Old Vets used to say that “we are in the shit now!” up to our necks, and the system that put us there needs abandoned ASAP, or else the future will be bleak indeed.

OzarkMichael,

As Matt Taibbi is a founding and influential ‘Occupy’ organizer we can expect him to remain fairly regularly highlighted on TruthDig.

Matt Taibbi should not be on Truthdig. Matt Taibbi is worse than Rush Limbaugh.

Here is just one sample of his vulgar misogynistic rants:

I have to say, I’m really enjoying this whole teabag thing. It’s really inspiring some excellent daydreaming. For one thing, it’s brought together the words teabag and Michelle Malkin for me in a very powerful, thrilling sort of way.
