Posted on Jan 20, 2013
democracynow.org

This piece was first published on Jan. 16, 2012. It is being reposted in remembrance of Dr. King in advance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

To commemorate MLK Day, “Democracy Now!” featured a lengthy tribute to the civil rights icon, including footage of several inspiring moments such as his “Beyond Vietnam” speech, delivered at New York City’s Riverside Church on April 4, 1967, a year before his death, and his last speech, from April 3, 1968.
