‘Logorama’ Is Proof That the Academy Awards Aren’t Completely Out of TouchPosted on Mar 10, 2010
We were as willing as anyone to write off this year’s Oscars for all the botched humor, predictable awards and desperate attempts at getting kids to watch (Taylor Lautner! Urban Dancing!), but we owe the Academy for bringing this mind-blowing little piece of genius to our attention. This is the winning best animated short and it’s worth 16 minutes of your time (more like 13 without the credits). Imagine a world where everything is a logo—like our world, but taken to an extreme. Add a dash of salty language and, well, you just have to see it. —PZS Logorama via FilmDrunk: Advertisement New and Improved CommentsIf you have trouble leaving a comment, review this help page. I’m surprised it hasn’t been sued to smithereens. I won’t hold my breath. Creativity
