Previous item: Egyptian Military Officers Defecting to Protesters Next item: 'Democracy Now!': NATO Kills 24 Pakistani Troops New and Improved CommentsWe are launching a major overhaul of our comments section. In addition to more robust spam filtering and moderation, new features include the ability to rate other comments, sort how they are displayed and respond directly via e-mail or in a thread. Unfortunately, commenters will lose their existing Truthdig identities. It's a pain, we know, but on the plus side you will now be able to log in with a plethora of options, including Google, Twitter, Facebook and Disqus accounts. Before launching this system we spent months in discussion with our top commenters. We listened to the feedback and we hope you like what we've come up with. It is often said that once a man too frequently becomes elected
Report thisas a politician, he forgets his roots. Villaregosa is ambitious to
become governor. It is interesting when he does make that run
that the Occupiers of California, from LA to San Francisco, Oakland,
and Sacramento does. Of course he will appeal to the large Latino
electorate but it just might not be enough for a quasi liberal. It is
important to get rid of liberals-in-name-only politicians just as much
as it is to defeat and prevent the election of any and all Republicans
running for office.

Wont the eviction happen late at night? Isn’t that when it usually occurrs? from 12-4am is the danger time for the occupation. when no one is watching, when people are sleeping. (ok this happens at the smaller ones, whereas large mass actions tend more to get a larger reaction when confrontation between cops and protesters)
