Rush is a sad commentary on the “state of our country”.When a charleton is allowed to appear and/or be heard as a respected commentator,the fault lies with the enablers. That’s us folks! Rush should be ostracized by getting to his sponsors, ala IMUS, and removed from his spewing of hatred and right-wing ideology. But,we(the silent majority)are too busy with living to devote our personal(and deserved)time off to spent this time on his removal.So,unless all of a sudden,we find the time to object, he will be able to continue with his slanted drivel.
Maybe we “bust his ass” for drug abuse? The Right side is real big on drug abuse. Therefore, they really can’t shield him. How about a call for “contributions” to fund a lawsuit against him? The charges? Don’t worry, with our existing legal system and $ to to fund an exercise,he’s in court. Once there,we make him the “poster boy” for them.I like it.What do you guys think? Possible? Shut down one of their primary voices? Get him to plead,in return for some pertinent info? Like a drug dealer. Give me someone, if you want to “skate”? In other words…play dirty. They live in that world. We can fight “fire with fire”. Paybacks, you know?

Obviously, Rush is full of crap. We didn’t need this latest example to prove that.  The question I have is how should we, as liberals, respond to it?  I’m afraid that getting into an argument about whether Cho’s actions were more stereotypically liberal or conservative is just legitimizing his tactics. What are our best options here?

It’s too long to post directly here, but I have some thoughts (although no great solutions) on this issue on my blog. If you have thoughts to share, I’d love to hear from you.  I think this is an important issue.

A movement to boycott all products advertised on his show should be started here and now. Join me. I listened for a few days to get a list of companies advertising on his show so I could make sure I’m not supporting this pathetic pond scum.
