Truthdig Editor-in-Chief Robert Scheer and the other “Left, Right & Center” panelists asked Friday whether President Obama just succeeded at diplomacy with Syria by accident? Are we rolling out the “Mission Accomplished” banner too soon?

Either way, Russia has taken on an indispensable role in the negotiations. President Vladimir Putin asked the United States to proceed with caution in a New York Times editorial.

Also, recent votes—the New York City mayoral primary and a Colorado recall campaign—suggest voters may be putting social issues above economic concerns. But that doesn’t change reports that the wealth inequality in the U.S. remains extreme.

Scheer and co-host Matt Miller are joined by conservative Matthew Continetti of The Washington Free Beacon.
