‘Left, Right & Center’: Palestine at the U.N., No Recovery for Years, Another Possible ShutdownPosted on Sep 23, 2011
Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas formally requested full U.N. membership at the General Assembly this week, a move Obama openly opposed. Tumbling markets made investors anxious, the Federal Reserve announced that a full recovery will take years, Republican candidates sparred at another debate and the Senate rejected a short-term spending bill, which may mean another government shutdown.
