President Barack Obama postponed his Asia trip to make a final push on health care. Will it really come to a vote within 10 days? Will the shocking report on Lehman Brothers’ financial manipulations hasten financial regulation reform? “Left, Right & Center” mainstays Robert Scheer, Tony Blankley and Matt Miller take a crack at these questions on this week’s show.  —KA

Usually I can agree with Robert Scheer, but his critique of “Hurt Locker” made me
doubt he actually sat through the entire movie.

Wouldn’t it be great to have regulation on corporations again?  Although it would be wonderful to have the usury laws returned, and corporations held in check, I really doubt it will actually happen with this Congress.  But, if the populace is persistent, I may see regulation of corporations return before I leave this earth.  I would somehow cheat death just to be able to live long enough to see representation of the populace and regulation of the Right-Wing’s corporations from pillaging the populace.

I have requested Single Payer Public Option to be included and if not at least a Public Option that is comprehensive and affordable where one doesn’t have to purchase any additional private policies to make the Public Option work, but my representatives are either Republicans or Republican Lite DLC Democrats, so it is highly unlikely Oklahoma representatives from my area will see the need to do anything of real benefit for the populace, as they only represent the corporations.

Gore. Kerry. The slightest criticism of gwBush bringing immediate cries of unpatriotic and un-american from the bush circles. Democrats, eager to lose another set of elections, proudly flaunt their weakness again. Dems STILL don’t recognize what any Independent voter or hillbilly fuck could tell them, if they bothered to ask: it is a fact that American voters would rather vote into office a band of lying “America-last” Republicans than any more sickingly feminized Democrat males. The first time Joe Lieberman slapped Obama in the face, the President should have squashed him like a bug.

Are you listening, White House?
