The Libyan government has called an immediate cease-fire in the face of the imminent threat of international military intervention. Plus: Mounting worries in Japan after last week’s earthquake and tsunami and the suddenly less important budget battle on Capitol Hill are part of the discussion on this week’s “Left, Right & Center.”

—Yii—es, thaht’s me,
I’m still on cloud 9 counting my
new pile of money.
-Nice, Arianna, but there were some events
during the last couple of weeks…
—Of course , didn’t you liiisten to the radio pogrom?
-Well, hon. after the AOL deal, I thought it would just stream into my head
automagically through the ether.
—You know, liii-ber-al-issssm was nice for a while,
but now that I’ve finished counting my new money,
and I see how much it is, you know my vision of
the real way to solve things has changed,
you have to be more prahk-tical.

Tony the transpalnted Aussie and one time “gopher” for Newt Gingrich wants to
out do Ann Coulter’s remarks that radiation is good for you.

Did I hear right? Did Blankley, you know the Moonie, did he actually say that nobody has died so far from the nuclear catastrophe? There have been three explosions so far. Every explosion has had human fatalities. Not only that, the nuclear industry is trying hard to switch our attention from the nuclear disaster to Libya. Nice job. Then Mr. Mooney worries about the economic impact of Japan. Jeez, I always knew these Moonies cared about money not about Christian charity. I wonder what that well-fed, complacent, arrogant x-Brit would say if they would dump him into a devastated village in Japan for a month? Perhaps he would pray to Wal Mart, Halliburton and Newt Gingrich? Notice how nobody is talking about reducing the size of the Japanese government now that manure has hit the fan. As to Sheer, shame on you, it’s OK to call the troops on Libya but we must allow the Saudis to invade Bahrain, the Israelis Gaza, the Israelis and the occupied territories, the Israelis and piracy on the high seas. Rather selective in your interventions aren’t you?
