‘Left, Right & Center’: Libya; Nuclear Future; Bachmann In?Posted on Mar 25, 2011
Mary Matalin steps in as a guest panelist on this week’s “Left, Right & Center,” in which Libya and Japan are dominant conversation points, of course, as well as Rep. Michele Bachmann, who may or may not have her eye on the White House prize. What’s America’s role in the changing Middle East? Take a listen. —KA KCRW: Advertisement Previous item: Video Shows Brazilian Police Shooting Boy Next item: Obama Addresses His Third Muslim War New and Improved CommentsWe are launching a major overhaul of our comments section. I don’t listen to it anymore, but I can easily
divine its content (by the way the poster above who thinks Chernobyl isn’t relative had better review the
facts. Start with the 3/25/11 National Press Club
panel with Dr. Yablokov of Russia who knows chapter
and verse on the subject).
Hi all, it’s Left, Center Right, More Right,
Report thisand Far Right again. Tonight it’s Mary Matalin
wife of the famous buffoon and infiltrator,
what’s his name?
Tony stop starking blankly, Tony:
-Nukes are safe.
—Thank you tony for your insightful comment,
go back to sleep Tony,
Sorry folks, this show is far too gruesome for
the unprepared to listen to….
....over and out , folks.

If Bob Scheer talks one more time about how he was at Chernobyl, as if that has ANYTHING to do with the Japanese reactor situation, I’m gonna scream. It’s like someone commenting on Afghanistan, talking about how he was in WWI and they used mustard gas and it was terrible. Come on, Bob, don’t be a broken record and don’t talk antiquated nonsense.

“Shills, Lackeys and Minstrels”
Do you folks NOT see the same rhetoric found among the mainstream “programming” being spouted herein?
What a joke! I can’t let go of the fact that Scheer fails to mention Tower 7 in his excerpts regarding 9/11… I mean, where is the freedom of speech or the ‘news’ on this rag of a website?
And Huffington? Give me a break!!
Is there anywhere online where real journalists are actually exposing real newsworthy events?
This website should be called Truth Burrowers, for that’s what these shills do… bury the truth like their heros at the LA-endTimes, CNNothing and FOXtrap news.

A nice half hour containing more light than heat…would that all our news/editorial media would use this delivery approach.

This program is becoming more and more irrelevant. Blankley goes on and on about how safe nuclear power is. If he is so sure, he should live next door to a nuclear plant. Furthermore, any other kind of power generating source, and if these sources had a catastrophic event, the land around them would not be uninhabitable for 100 or more years. Not a dam bursting or a coal plant exploding. Nuclear not only kills at once, its lethal effects go on and on for 30 years.
Report thisNo one mentions the dangers of mining, transporting, and the impossibility (impossibility) under our present technology of getting rid of waste. Please make sure not to mention that that Japanese reactor has plutonium-based rods. We need solar, wind, thermal, conservation, conservation and power generated from the oceans’ tides and waves.

I’m a long-time listener of Left Right & Center. This is the first time I felt sorry for Bob Sheer, having to respond to Republican diatribes, lies and distortions from his fellow panel members. It was mind-boggling. I suggest replacing Matt Miller and getting a level headed centrist to spar with Sheer and Fawlty Towers resident Blankley . Mary Matalin is a political jester. For Blankley and Matalin to praise the brain of Michele Bachman is skit from Laugh-In. Let’s get some serious discussions in the future or change the name of the show to the Politico Gong Show.

Instead of this dubious ‘show’ being called “Left, Right and Center” perhaps it would be kind of yourselves ( TruthDig / TruthDitchDiggers ) to rename it this, for this better represents your tribute:
“Schill, Lackey and Minstrel”

Not surprisingly Tony wants the free market to operate when it comes to the
Report thishousing market but not in nuclear power market. We will never know if safe
renewable energy will work until the government supports it as much as it does
other forms of energy.
