‘Left, Right & Center’: Libya, Budget Battle, GOP LineupPosted on Apr 1, 2011
President Obama’s speech about Libya was perhaps striking for what he said as much as for what he didn’t say. Did he say enough to sway public opinion? Also in this week’s edition of “Left, Right & Center,” regulars Robert Scheer, Tony Blankley and Matt Miller, along with repeat guest star Mary Matalin, consider the list of potential GOP contenders for the White House and revisit the budget battle on Capitol Hill. —KA

My how money / wealth and the prospect of such wealth blinds the mind, the soul… yes, even the heart.
“No one can serve two masters. Either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and Money.”
—God ( Matthew 6:24 ).
Whether you believe in God or not, this is true…. anyway you cut it.
You either serve God / The Truth / Your Conscience… or you serve the created god / the fiat / the golden calf.

The title to this lame show should read:
“Lackey, Shill and Minstrel” instead of ‘left, right and center.’
Sheer surely cannot wait to sell TD to some big corp and retire to some tropical island or some wilderness getaway… you stinkin’ shill!

Never thought I’d see some people endorse “humanitarian bombing”. Disgusting. If the US wanted to “help” why is it always by dropping bombs? Try an evacuation/relocation program maybe? Is Diplomacy now to be thrown under the bus with Reverend Wright? What is the next concept our new King will ask us to abandon?
When so called “hardcore progressives” are snowed by the liars and whores in DC it’s late thirty.
Backing up Globalization with Military Might
But, today, as never before, we need to tear away the mask of lies and disclose the real goals of this “new world order” imperialism and see clearly how it hurts workers and the poor within our own borders and globally. We need to see the ways in which military dominance increasingly works in close tandem with economic globalization, privatization and the drive for corporate super profits. This basic understanding is essential for paving the road to a powerful united worldwide resistence movement.
McDonald’s Needs McDonnell Douglas to Flourish
An article by Thomas Friedman in the New York Times entitled “What the World Needs Now” tells it all. Illustrated by an American Flag on a fist it said, among other things: “For globalism to work, America can’t be afraid to act like the almighty superpower that it is….The hidden hand of the market will never work without a hidden fist-McDonald’s cannot flourish without McDonnell Douglas, the designer of the F-15. And the hidden fist that keeps the world safe for Silicon Valley’s technologies is called the United States Army, Air Force, Navy and Marine Corps.” (23)
Corporations will stop at nothing
To achieve maximum profits these transnationals will stop at nothing. After all, they are non-human institutions that must expand through ever-greater profits, or go out of business. In so doing they have shown willingness to violate human rights-particularly workers’ rights—to throw millions out of work, eliminate unions, use sweat-shops and slave labor, destroy the environment, destabilize governments, install or bolster tyrants who oppress, repress, torture and kill with impunity.

the last time these liars, whores and psychopaths did “humanitarian bombing” they dropped DU bombs on Kosovo for 78 days.
And when it was all over, there was no “genocide”. And the failure and outright dishonest brokering of the Rambouillet accords were never mentioned by the mainstream suckups. Do you know how many innocent civilians died because the bombers were using “old maps” (sic) or fired on passenger trains, or DU Clusterbombed a marketplace (Nis)? DO YOU? Most likely you don’t care.
So some people keep getting fooled over and over again. And keep expecting a different result.
Time to look for some *real* anti war sites. Have fun with your “Humanitarian Bombing”

Why is Arianna Huffington treated as some sort of serious “pundit”?
She is an narcissistic airhead who stole Zsa Zsa Gabor’s accent.

Mary Matalin’s statement “The public is much better informed” has to be the stunner of the week. How did this happen? Fox (lie and distortion machine), main-slime-media, which is not much better than Fox just more subtle. American Idol continues to attract more viewers than all the new outlets combined go figure.
