The crew discusses the Senate’s rejection of the Blunt amendment and how the debate on contraception coverage is costing Republicans. Just days before a visit from Israel’s PM Netanyahu, President Obama warns Iran that he’s not bluffing on the military option. And moderate Maine GOP Sen. Olympia Snowe cites legislative stalemate as the reason she won’t run again.

Matt Miller and Robert Scheer are joined by Chrystia Freeland and Matthew Continetti on “Left, Right & Center.”

its pretty simple isnt it. we construct a country of mostly non native jews in the
middle east 60-70 yrs ago, give them 2-300 nuclear warheads and they dictate
how the 2000 yr old countries around them are to feel and behave. israel is our
51st state except in name and is run by the rightwing as our country is. the sheer,
rank hypocracies and double standards they, as well as our rightwing has always
lived in is mind blowing.

The extent of Scheer’s anti Israel bias is explicitly revealed
by his statement “take the wind out of the sails of
Netanyahu” As if Netanyahu was making up the Iranian nuclear threat. Scheer is so extreme that he even accepts Khamenei at his word. Never mind that the Iranians through their proxies have even blown up rival Mosques. Continetti did a good job of showing
showing how ludicrous Scheer’s belief that Kameni’s so called condemnation of nuclear weapons
is real. Scheer , like most knee jerk leftists, would take even the word of anyone who would
attack Israel even an Islamofascist cleric, The fact that right now Yusuf Naderkhani is facing death for being a Christian in Khamenei’s satrap of Religious fanaticism doesn’t merit a word from Scheer.
No there is no change in Iran. It’s just as bent on spreading its brand of terror as always.
And why should Iran change with a President as incompetent as Obama in charge.
